Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Placid by IHG

My experience at the Holiday Inn express and suites at Lake Placid was very very good. Me and my wife enjoyed the room that we were service was excellent. The only thing I’d like to bring to your attention is the rug in the room needs to be shampooed clean or removed and replace it with a new one other than that everything else was fine.

I especially want to recognize Paula for her exceptional customer service. She was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to help me with an issue that was actually my own mistake. She handled everything with patience, understanding, and professionalism, and never once made it feel like a problem. Paula truly made our stay smoother and less stressful. Her kindness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. She represents the hotel so well, and her level of customer service is rare to find. She absolutely deserves recognition and honestly, a promotion or raise for the amazing job she does.

We recently used the conference room at the Holiday Inn Express, Lake Placid for a celebration of life for my mother. While no one ever wants to plan an event like this, the staff made the entire experience feel a little less heavy and a whole lot more human. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth, kindness, and (thankfully) food. The room was clean, well-lit, and didn’t have that weird hotel room smell we were secretly bracing for. Win! The staff went above and beyond—constantly checking in (but not in an annoying way), helping with setup, and making sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, I wouldn’t have been surprised if they’d started passing tissues and hugging people—they were that compassionate. And let me just say: if you’re going to cry in a conference room, this is the place to do it. Comfortable chairs, good acoustics, and a thermostat that actually works. Five stars. Thank you to the whole team for helping us honor my mom with grace, dignity, and even a few laughs. She would have loved the snacks—and probably tried to take a few home in her purse.

The staff are very professional and helpful. The place is really nicely set up. The breakfast is amazing!! The place is located in a nice area. You’ll be happy your stayed here, it feels like family.

I arrived at Lake Placid Holiday inn Express after a long day of travel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were luxurious and very clean and neat. When morning arrived at 6AM I was welcomed to an excellent breakfast with many healthy alternatives. What a WONDERFUL experience at the Holiday inn Express in America's most interesting town

BEST breakfast around! A really great variety including eggs, meats, yogurt, 3 different types of juice, sweet bun's, fruit, and more. Fran who takes care of everything couldn’t be nicer. She keeps the area spotless and delivers friendly service. Kenny and Paula at the front desk are kind and accommodating. The hotel is very clean which is KEY in my opinion. The location is also great. Best hotel in town.

Amber was great! She was there when we checked in at night and was there in the morning when we checked out. We were a family of 4 2 crazy boys and she smiled through it. She was pleasant. It was clean and welcoming. She gave us a great room with a view

Loved this place Kayla was extremely helpful with our work group that was there for 2 days, the rooms were very clean the breakfast was great. The area is so nice and if you like water they have great lakes. I would definitely recommend staying here, I will if I ever come to Lake placid again or any Holiday Inn.
